There are several notable aspects of the schedule, ones shaped by survey responses collected at the previous conference in Vancouver:
- First, more time between sessions has been provided: 30 minutes rather than fifteen. This extra time should help you feel less rushed and encourage more conversation about and in between presentations. It also allows presenters time to talk with audience members, take a break, and promptly get to the next session they themselves want to attend.
- Second, we have made it a priority to have as many session blocks as possible with only three--rather than four or five--options. This reduces the frustration of having to choose between so many good presentations as well as keeps audiences for each session robust. Still, your choices will be difficult--many great offerings!
- Finally, to allow the WSA officers and local arrangements chairs to attend as many sessions as they can, registration is limited to the times listed on the schedule.
